Epicenter ScriptSeq
Performance and reliability of Epicentre ScriptSeq (1.0) vs. Illumina mRNA-seq
The Non-Human Primate Reference Transcriptome (NHPRT)
Our lab leads the computational analysis of the NHPRT Project, where we are working to perfect the de novo assembly of transcriptomes for various human tissues and primates to compare tissue-specific and species-specific differences. We also created draft assemblies of various primates, if they were not available. This work was carried out in collaboration with ENSEMBL, Merck, Illumina, Baylor, the Katze Lab (University of Washington), and the Thierry-Mieg Lab (NCBI).
RNA-Seq
We are happy to post here the results, methods, data, scripts, and phalanx of papers for the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Sequencing Quality Control (SEQC) Study on RNA-Sequencing (RNA-Seq) and the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) Phase I Study on Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), which focused on RNA-seq. The overarching goal was to establish robust measures and methods for of inter-site and inter-platform RNA-seq concordance, which is critical for clinical applications, self-evaluation/improvement, and technology and informatics development.
